From Bedside to 100km: Walk/Run for Brain Cancer
We are a Melbourne-based neuroscience nursing team working in a neurosurgery ward, caring for patients and families affected by brain tumours every day. We see firsthand the challenges they face β from diagnosis through treatment and recovery.
This May, weβre taking on a 100km walk/run challenge to raise funds for brain cancer research in support of The Brain Cancer Centre.
Every kilometre we walk represents the patients we care for and the lives impacted by this disease.
Weβre on a mission to support the incredible researchers working towards better treatments and, ultimately, a cure for brain cancer.
